Three main differences. First, our free tier includes unlimited rank tracking (Rank Math caps this at 5 keywords on the free plan), broken link checking (neither Rank Math nor Yoast offer this), and content decay detection (unique to us). Second, our PRO tier includes AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot - no other plugin category has this at all. Third, this plugin is built by an active SEO agency, not a software company - every feature exists because we needed it for real client work.
Yes — after a free 7-day trial. The free CitedSEO plugin never needs a license key and stays fully functional forever. PRO is different: once the trial ends, an active PRO license is required to keep using PRO's premium modules (AI visibility tracking, client reports, and the rest).
Running two SEO plugins simultaneously can produce duplicate <title> and meta tags in your HTML, which confuses search engines. We recommend deactivating Yoast, Rank Math, or SEOPress before activating CitedSEO. The two can technically co-exist if you disable the meta output in one of them, but it's cleaner to use one.

The free plugin (CitedSEO) is submitted for review on the WordPress.org plugin directory. Once approved, you'll be able to install it directly from your WordPress admin under Plugins → Add New. In the meantime, you can download the ZIP file from this page and install it manually via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
The plugin communicates with Google's APIs (Search Console, Analytics) when you connect those integrations - no data is sent until you explicitly authorise the connection. The OAuth flow routes through our broker at oauth.adworksbid.com to exchange authorisation codes server-side without exposing client secrets in the browser. No post content, user data, or analytics are transmitted to our servers. All tokens are stored exclusively in your own WordPress database.
